Programmes of work that lead to the generation of new knowledge within the field of cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation and link with the BACPR Research Priorities are of particular interest. To support high quality work, an annual grant of £5,000 is available. In addition to funding, the best three applications will receive constructive feedback from experienced researchers within the field, on how their work may be enhanced, and/or progressed.
The shortlisted finalist will receive complimentary registration to attend the BACPR Annual Conference, where they will present their project to conference delegates, alongside last year’s finalist who will share their findings. The process of grant preparation and application, project feedback, and oral presentation will provide new researchers with a valuable and productive experience that will develop their research skills.
