Becoming a Member
BACPR represents and serves the interests of all professionals involved in cardiovascular disease prevention and rehabilitation. Membership consists of a wide range of disciplines involved in improving cardiovascular health - typically including cardiologists, GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists and exercise instructors. Members are from both primary care and the acute sectors together with individuals from leisure services and the fitness industry.

All members of the BACPR are required to agree to abide to the Articles of Association and Member Rules of Association.
Membership Categories
BACPR Ordinary Membership
This membership category is for individuals who are interested in or working within cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation. This category applies to all those working within healthcare, higher education and third sector.
£45.00 per year
BACPR Exercise Instructor Membership
This category applies to all those who hold a current BACPR Exercise Instructor qualification.
£33.00 per year
BACPR Student Membership
This category is for those in full-time education at undergraduate, masters or postgraduate researcher (PGR) level. Membership is for one year and must be renewed annually for those on periods of study lasting longer than 12 months.
£10.00 per year
BCS Affiliate Membership
This additional membership, held with the BCS, is available to any member of BACPR who is not a consultant cardiologist.
